Originally from Connecticut, Heather has always had a love of theatre. She graduated from Albertus Magnus College and started teaching Theatre, Music and English at Chase Collegiate School. She co-produced and originated The Medici Project that helped bring new composers and student actors together to produce original musical theatre works. Her Teaching and Directing style won her recognition from the Connecticut Senate and was awarded A Citation of Excellence from The Secretary of State. Act 2 Theatre Company in New Haven, CT was Heather’s home base and endless summers were spent being a Camp Counselor and Program Director at Camp Washington in Lakeside, CT. She was Head of Theatre at renowned International Boarding School, Tasis, England for over ten years. She directed and acted for many UK and US Theatre Companies and taught musical theatre at Chateaux des Enfants in Lugano, Switzerland. Heather was K-12 Head of Music at Elgin Acdemy and on the Board of Directors for Summer Place Theatre in Naperville. She is also Artistic Director for Little Mountain Community Theatre in Lemont, Illinois. She resides in Aurora with her ever patient husband Peter and her favorite cheerleaders Emma and Christopher.
